Dear Mr. Walker,
I am writing to thank you for your service and representation with my bankruptcy filing which was recently discharged.
I also want to thank your staff for their assistance, bot those who courteously and promptly answered my questions over the phone, and especially Lisa Falk for her efforts in preparing and making the filing.
Last summer I visited your office to discuss my financial situation with you and to learn about the bankruptcy process and how it might apply to my circumstance.
You generously provided as much time as I needed, answered my questions, and provided the perspective I needed to objectively evaluate what had been a longstanding and extremely stressful period of financial turbulence.
In short, you advised that I look at my circumstance and bankruptcy as a business decision.
That was absolutely the correct point of view, and I am grateful for your counsel because it made clear to me that declaring bankruptcy was an appropriate and necessary solution that would allow me to gain a fresh start.
Having now gone through bankruptcy I am much better educated about credit, budgeting, debt collection, legal rights/obligations- many important knowledge areas that I consider essential for moving forward.
In addition to your face-to-face counsel I will tell you I found your bankruptcy truth booklet very helpful.
It has good, practical information that helps remove some of the uncertainty or even fear people may have when deciding whether to file bankruptcy.
Bankruptcy may not be appropriate for everyone, but it was for me, and prior to visiting your office I simply didn’t have enough information to see that.
Thank you again for your assistance,
Mr. L.
